Apparently, Jay Thakkar’s Upcoming Horror Comedy Feature Film called ‘KAPKAPPI’ in primary cast with the Golmaal Superstars – Shreyas Talpade & Tushar Kapoor, helmed by Bravo Entertainment & Directed By Sangeeth Sivan sir, is set to theatrically release this year in 2024. Apart from this, he will also be seen in everyone’s favourite TVF & Sony Liv’s Original Web Series called ‘GULLAK SEASON-4’. Jay Thakkar has also shot for Sony Liv’s upcoming Crime Thriller Drama show- ADRISHYAM with Divyanka Tripathi where you’ll be seeing him in a character never seen before, playing a PSYCHOPATHIC Terrorist Villain.
He has also appeared in various mythological shows and played highly aesthetic roles like “RAKHBAAN”- The 86 years old but youngest Villain from HATIM on &Tv, “BANPHOOL” – Psychological Crazy Villain from Mauka-E-Vardaat on Zee Tv, and “KING DUSHAASAN” in Sony Tv’s- ‘SURYAPUTRA KARNA’. These characters required highly aesthetic makeup that took nearly 4 hours to get ready, dialogues that consisted historical accents, and costumes that projected highly mythological getup. With every Film Project, TV or Web Show that he has performed, he has always found a learning curve and is often inspired by his Directors, Producers, Mentors and Co-Stars.As a 4-year-old, he was always an active participant in different kinds of Cultural & Inter-School Competitions in his Society, School, Mall Fests, etc. and backed up various Trophies and Prizes for the same. Whether it was Fancy Dress, Mono-Act, Dance Competition, Fashion Show or Elocution Competition, the 4-year-old always found the stage as his best friend and performed with all his heart, talent and dedication. His mother, who is also his Idol, spotted his extraordinary talent and helped him channelize his active skills, talents, abilities, energy, sense of humor and presence of mind into this highly productive field which helped him discover his true talent of ACTING. Ever since then, his mother has not only been his back-bone, but also the Director of his Life. With her blessings, guidance and advice, she inspires Jay to be the best version of himself. According to Jay Thakkar, life is a journey more than a destination and what matters the most to him is the company he shares his journey with. He also believes that it’s his social responsibility to give back to the society and community because balance is a basic foundation to his moral life, whether it’s a balance between work, personal, academic and social life or finding the balance between body, mind, heart and soul. Jay Thakkar is an avid animal lover, social worker, family man and a constant learner. He also loves to learn various fitness art forms like Taekwondo, Karate, Calisthenics and CrossFit. Apart from his love for acting, fitness and animals, he has a special interest in cinematography, editing, post production, dubbing, production design and art direction.
